* Inspired Travel Tips--
(1) Kent sez: save in your cell phone the phone number for your credit card company's customer service, and add the last 4 digits of the account number. If your credit card becomes lost or stolen, you'll have all the info you need to cancel it right away.
(2) Melissa sez: make photocopies of all of your important documents (passport, driver's license) and keep it in a separate location (hotel/luggage/etc).
(3) Diana sez: get travel magazines for the places on your itinerary and cut them up and piece them into your blank journal in the order that you'll be visiting them. Then, while traveling, write notes about your travel adventures in and around the clippings in your journal. The clippings are a concise way to help you remember what to look for at each of your destinations.
(4) Diana also sez: for those who carry a laptop computer in a travel case, Prima Dora has a wonderful strap handle cover with inside name tag/phone number ID. Unique fabric cover makes it immediately recognizable. Seems like a good security measure, especially for traveling kids & computers.
(4) The federal government says: Prior to your departure, you should register with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate through the State Department’s travel registration website .
